Mercy seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care across diverse medical needs, performing assessments, administering medications, coordinating treatments, and educating patients and families. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, using advanced technology and EHR systems to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and promptly respond to changes in status.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Document all care, observations, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards in line with Mercy and regulatory guidelines.
- Precept, mentor, and support nursing colleagues and students as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and unit-based initiatives.

- Specialty certification (e.g., Med-Surg, Critical Care) preferred
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency
