The Ideal Candidate :

* You are a Certified Veterinary technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant, with solid understanding and experience in small animal anesthesia.

* A team player, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and can think critically on your feet

* You are able to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Motivated, dependable individual with a strong work ethic and a love for animals

* Must be able to lift 40lbs

You possess clinical skills and experience that might include (but are not limited to):

* Patient assessment and physical examinations

* Phlebotomy, catheter placement & management of fluid administration

* Highly capable surgical and procedural anesthesia nurse

* Utilizing different modalities of imaging for patient assessment, set up and use.

* Assisting DVM's in patient diagnostics, treatment, and procedures

* Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures such as CBC/Chem/SAA/fecal testing/IGG/PRP

* Preparing, updating, and completing patient treatments and maintaining accurate medical records

Anticipated Schedule (TBD):

* Part-time flexible position available. We will work with you to find a schedule that works.
