Position Summary
Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, offers guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies for various membership and payment types. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
Responsibilities- Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise. Corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintains entrance areas: acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, identifies member needs, assists members in purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, resolves member issues, promotes company products and services, zones and arranges merchandise, assists members with transporting items, maintains a safe shopping environment.
- Maintains exit areas: reviews member receipts, acknowledges member needs, secures and safeguards Sam's Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity pursuant to company policies, maintains paperwork, logs, and other documentation, executes emergency response procedures, ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assists with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new programs rollout training, provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning area, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implements related action plans, uses Open Door Policy, and applies them in executing business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvement opportunities; adapts and learns from feedback.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.
Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
