Member Specialist

Sam's Club # West I 35 Frontage Road, Edmond, OK

Provide member service at the checkout and front‑end, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products, support members on self‑service technology, and process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies.

• Maintain checkout and entrance/exit areas, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
• Verify membership, assist member purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and transport items.
• Process member transactions, including payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
• Handle merchandise properly; zone, organize, identify shrink and damages.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and required paperwork.
• Execute emergency response procedures.
• Assist in training new associate members on processes, technology and rollout of new programs.
• Collaborate with managers and coworkers, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as cash registers.
• Experience with mobile retail applications.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.
• Team‑player with a willingness to help in a collaborative environment.

• Previous experience in a similar member‑services or kiosk role.
• Knowledge of Walmart / Sam's Club system or benefits.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00/hr additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
