As a Security Officer - Access Control in Edmond, OK
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will support access control and security-related operations at a busy logistics and distribution location, monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor and truck flow, and conducting routine patrols to reduce incidents while delivering standout customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Control access at entrances and shipping and receiving areas by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and directing drivers to the correct dock and/or staging area.
• Monitor inbound and outbound movement of vehicles, trailers, and packages by reviewing logs and shipping documentation as required and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, dock doors, and yard lanes.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
