Full-Time Landscape Mechanic

The Landscape Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of landscape equipment and vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position supports field crews by minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.

• Diagnose and repair small engines, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscape equipment
• Maintain and repair trucks, trailers, and diesel/gas-powered vehicles
• Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, filter replacement, fluid checks, etc.)
• Inspect equipment for safety compliance and operational readiness
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed
• Ensure shop cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards
• Respond to emergency repair needs in the field when necessary

• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Good communication skills
