Overview

Mechanic Associate – responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the company. This technician will support ground frame maintenance as needed and ensure safe, timely, and high-quality transportation services and patient care.

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs; provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment; regularly update the equipment tracking log; place replacement requests when necessary; and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and OSHA safety guidelines as required; adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the ground ambulance maintenance team and ground crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow mechanics and the operations team.

• Automotive experience or vocational training preferred.
• Must have a basic set of personal tools.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
