**** Position Summary
** As a
** Wastewater Technician I**, you will play an important role in supporting our Wastewater Operations team. In this position, you will assist the cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) crews with various utility projects throughout your assigned area. This role is essential in helping protect the environment and maintain community health by ensuring sewer systems remain clean and properly maintained.

This position reports directly to the
** Field Operations Manager**.
** Regional & Work Environment Considerations
** This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.## Qualifications
** Primary Responsibilities
*** Provide field services for data collection and assess the condition of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems using a wide array of technologies.
* Maintain clean equipment and toolboxes.
* Perform basic math skills and use of computer applications.
* Support the cleaning and CCTV teams with day-to-day operations
* Assist in the maintenance and inspection of wastewater systems
* Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
* Work collaboratively with the team to complete assigned tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

*** Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
* Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
* Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations
* Must be able to walk on various terrain, work in various type of weather conditions and work in confined spaces, bend, squat and lift/carry up to 75 pounds
* Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks at a time as needed, work weekends and work some nights. Travel could be upwards of 80% of time based on project locations.
* Ability to possess or obtain Confined Space Training certifications
* Must have reliable transportation
* Ability to work outdoors whiles using ATV equipment. …
