Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive maintenance and repair tasks on trailer systems, focusing on braking, lighting, and suspension integrity.
  • Analyze complex mechanical failures to implement precise, long-term solutions that minimize equipment downtime.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify potential hazards and proactively recommend necessary component upgrades.
  • Document all service activities and repair histories to maintain accurate fleet maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with shop personnel to streamline workflows and meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Communicate technical repair requirements clearly to stakeholders to ensure transparency and high-quality service outcomes.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in trailer or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Capacity to interpret complex technical manuals, schematics, and service diagrams.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
Preferred Skills
  • Formal technical training or certification in diesel or automotive mechanics.
