Application Developer

The Application Developer will support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on replacing legacy pension administration technology with a custom, cloud-native platform. This role will build and enhance applications using technologies such as C#/.NET, Angular, REST APIs, SQL, and Azure while partnering with technical and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• Design, build, test, and maintain modern application components within an Azure-based environment.
• Develop REST APIs, system integrations, and automated workflows that connect key business applications.
• Convert functional and technical specifications into reliable, maintainable production code.
• Participate in code reviews, source control, pull requests, unit testing, and technical documentation.
• Work with analysts, testers, developers, and project managers to refine user stories and deliver solutions on schedule.
• Help transition critical functionality away from legacy systems while improving scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

• Hands-on experience with C#/.NET, Web API, Angular 16+, SQL, Azure Dev Ops, and Git.
• 3-5 years of relevant application development experience preferred, with a Computer Science or MIS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of modern development frameworks, secure coding practices, and Agile/SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with application development activities including coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and pull requests.
• Ability to create APIs, integrations, and workflow automation while producing high-quality software with minimal defects.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple development priorities.
