PositionSummary
We are looking for a hardworking, dependable person with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the Foam Department. This is a heavy warehouse‑focused role, with approximately 75% of the position dedicated to warehouse operations, including extensive walking, loading and unloading product, forklift operation, and material handling throughout the shift. The remaining portion involves transporting product between two onsite locations.
Candidates must be comfortable driving and maneuvering trailers and must know how to safely back up a 53' trailer. This is a first shift position with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. No weekends. Full‑time position with excellent benefits.
- Heavy warehouse work involving constant movement throughout the facility, loading and unloading materials, staging product, organizing inventory, and supporting daily warehouse activities
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and storage areas safely and efficiently
- Drive between two onsite company locations to move product and materials as needed
- Safely move trailers to and from loading docks, staging areas, and parking spots within the yard
- Assist with inventory control by accurately recording material movements and ensuring proper storage
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to coordinate yard and warehouse activities
- Dependable (must be at work on time)
- Valid driver’s license and clear MVR
- At least 1 year of yard jockey and warehouse experience
- At least 2 years of sit‑down forklift, spotter truck, manual pallet jack, and auto pallet jack experience
- Able to drive a yard dog and back 53’ trailers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Able to stand or walk up to 10 hours per day
- Comfortable with extensive walking, loading, unloading, and physical warehouse labor throughout the shift
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to climb in and out of trailers safely
- Forklift certification is a plus
