We are currently seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position near Edmonds, WA. This is a great opportunity for a skilled provider who enjoys working with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) Breaks: 1-hour unpaid lunch daily Responsibilities:
Patient Volume:
Up to 21 patients per day, may vary based on cancellations and scheduling Patient Population:
Newborns to geriatrics, must be comfortable treating patients of all ages Support Staff:
Dedicated medical assistant Receptionist Mental health therapists Dietitians Pediatrician onsite at most clinics Local health care administrator for timecard submission Procedures:
Routine family medicine procedures including injections, IUD placements, minor wound care Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC Key

Qualifications:

Board Certification:
Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Family Medicine License:
Active Washington State medical license required DEA:
Active Washington DEA required

Experience:

Must have experience working in community health centers or with vulnerable populations such as migrants and refugees.

Experience with these patient groups is highly valued, though interpreters are available on-site.
