Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker position performs a variety of functions related to the breakfast and/or lunch meal services in Edmonds School District Kitchens. This position sets up, serves and cleans up after school meals. This position also maintains records for the school kitchen including temperature logs, food production records and student meal accounts.

2 hours a day; 180 day calendar; shift hours are 11:15am-1:15pm

Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.

Non-Exempt

$24.76 per hour. Additional step increases from $24.76 to $26.06, dependent on employer-approved training.  Food Service Salary Schedule) [Effective Sep. 1, 2026: $25.46 per hour]
