Job SummaryWe are seeking multiple highly skilled and NETA-certified Field Service Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on power distribution systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, switch gear, and protective relays. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced field environment.
Key Responsibilities- Testing & Maintenance:
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical equipment in accordance with NETA standards. - Commissioning:
Conduct electrical commissioning of new and upgraded power systems. - Calibration:
Test and calibrate protective relays, transformers, circuit breakers, and switch gear. - Diagnostics:
Utilize diagnostic tools such as power quality analyzers, insulation resistance testers, and thermal imaging equipment. - Technical Analysis:
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure proper system functionality. - Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing test results, findings, and recommendations. - Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. - Collaboration:
Partner with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success. - Fieldwork:
Travel to sites for fieldwork, occasionally on short notice.
- NETA-certified
- Experience performing electrical testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on power distribution systems (transformers, circuit breakers, switch gear, protective relays)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment and collaborate with project teams
- Willingness to travel to sites for fieldwork, occasionally on short notice
