Description
Patient Care Coordinators at Swedish Medical Group (SMG) in our Neurology Clinics support effective patient flow by providing excellent customer service to patients with a wide range of neurological concerns. You will coordinate information and support needed for patient flow, serve as a patient advocate and work closely with clinical teams.
Responsibilities- Coordinate information and support required for patient flow.
- Provide customer service, including helping patients with check-in, registration, billing/financial assistance and insurance.
- Assist with scheduling and clinic operations in conjunction with clinical teams.
- Act as a patient advocate to ensure access to health care during each stage of care.
- 1 year of experience in a medical/healthcare setting or two years in a customer service role.
- Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
