Overview
As a Medical Assistant/MA‑C, you’ll help with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs clinical environments foster teamwork and provide pathways to leadership for MAs who wish to advance their careers.

At our Urgent Care Clinics, we provide a same‑day alternative to the ER, treating non‑life‑threatening injuries and illnesses such as minor illnesses and injuries. The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. An MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic/location of work.
An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assist with administrative and clinical duties, including appointment scheduling, updating patient records in EPIC, measuring vital signs, administering injections, and performing medication administration under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
Essential Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands‑on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Upon hire:
Washington Medical Assistant Certification - Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
- Upon hire:
National Medical Assistant Certification
