CT Technologist

Description

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures utilizing a multi‑slide CT scanner on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patients. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Produces radiographic diagnostic quality for these examinations as prescribed by department protocols.

• Coursework/Training:
  Successful completion of a program in Radiologic Technology as accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire:
  Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire:
• National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography --or-
• National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
