Ultrasonographer
The Ultrasonographer provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound on all patient age populations. Diagnostic examinations may be performed on breast, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological and other areas. The ultrasound professional also assists with various procedures during which ultrasound is utilized. The ultrasonographer is responsible for performing and communicating results of examinations.

Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training:
Successful completion of Ultrasound training program - Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Within 1 year of hire:
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Previous breast ultrasound experience
