The Ultrasonographer provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound on patients of all ages. Diagnostic examinations may be performed on breast, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and other areas. The ultrasound professional also assists with various procedures during which ultrasound is utilized. The ultrasonographer is responsible for performing and communicating results of examinations.
Required Qualifications- Successful completion of an ultrasound training program
- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Upon hire:
National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association - Within 1 year of hire:
National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Previous breast ultrasound experience

CompensationPay range: $55.68 - $84.82 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
