Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Participate in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree in Speech Language or Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a closely related field.
- Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license.
- 1 year of experience as Speech Language Pathologist.
- 1 year of hospital-wide experience delivering therapy to patients with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia.
- 1 year of diagnostic experience with MBS procedures.
