Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Position is for a treating therapist, not CT Sim

• Schedule options: 5x8s or 4x10s, Monday through Friday

• 8-hour shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

• 10-hour shift times: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• No weekends required

• No on-call required

• No floating required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Does not accept first-time travelers

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT T

• Epic charting system experience required

• Patients served include adults and geriatrics

• Skills required include:
Adult Acute Care, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Radiation Safety, Respiratory Gating, billing for treatment types and devices, chart check, emergency cases, and patient/family teaching

This facility offers a comprehensive radiation therapy program with a focus on treating a wide range of oncology diagnoses including Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, leukemia, and testicular cancer. The department is equipped with advanced technology including the Elekta Versa HD and supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
