Surgical Technician - Operating Room

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of a registered nurse, the Surgical Technologist participates as a member of the perioperative nursing team and performs indirect perioperative tasks for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who are having surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures. The Surgical Technologist may also be assigned to transport patients, second assist, and serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.

• Graduation from a surgical technology program or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
• Upon hire:
  Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Upon hire:
  Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

The pay range for this position is $38.03 - $57.69 per hour, with additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
