Description
This position functions to meet the educational needs of expectant and new families and their support networks. In meeting these needs, this position assists families in the process of transitioning from the role of expectant parents to the role of parents responsible for care of their newborns. The role provides education by utilizing a process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
ResponsibilitiesAssist families in the transition from expectant to new parenthood, deliver childbirth education, and assess and evaluate educational outcomes.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree — in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in childbirth education
- Coursework/Training — Successful completion of formal childbirth education training program
- Certification by a nationally recognized childbirth education upon hire
- 6 months of teaching experience

PayRange
$41.81 - $64.91 per hour. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
