Dusted Valley is a family-owned and operated winery that was established in the world-renowned Walla Walla Valley wine region in 2003. Today, Dusted Valley farms three estate vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley, partners with several other top-growers throughout Eastern Washington and currently has two tasting rooms:

Dusted Valley is looking for a positive team player with excellent hospitality skills and a "can do" attitude. Our Tasting Room Associate will work directly with the Hospitality Manager and Hospitality Lead. This position requires excellent communication, sales skills, flexibility, and initiative to master the daily operational tasks of the Dusted Valley Edmonds Tasting Room and the attainment of Stained Tooth Society wine club membership.

This is a great position for someone with an interest in the wine industry looking to expand their wine and hospitality experience.

• Deliver exceptional, personalized hospitality that creates memorable guest experiences and reflects the Dusted Valley brand.
• Educate guests about our wines, vineyards, winemaking philosophy and wine club.
• Learn and master all tasting room systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with Washington State liquor laws and company standards.
• Open and close the tasting room, including cash handling, POS reconciliation, daily checklists, and ensuring the space is fully prepared for service.
• Process wine sales, shipping orders, reservations, and club transactions accurately while maintaining detailed guest information in company systems.
• Support daily tasting room operations by stocking wine, doing dishes, polishing glassware, and maintaining a clean, organized, guest-ready environment.
• Assist with kitchen operations as needed, including preparing and plating light food offerings, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety standards, and occasionally working dedicated kitchen shifts to support hospitality operations.
• Assist with wine club fulfillment, member pickups, and the execution of special events.
• Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while taking initiative to support operational needs throughout each shift.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Point of Sale (POS) experience for fast-paced retail sales preferred
• Positive, professional attitude with the ability to focus on the tasks at hand
• Possesses strong coachability; receives direction well within individual and team environments
• Shows initiative; is a self-starter
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for WA wine industry and committed to expand knowledge
• Possesses sense of humor!
• Must be available to work weekends and early evenings; may also work special events at tasting room
• Has own reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 45 pounds repeatedly
• Maintains or will acquire MAST 12 certification (WSLCB)
• Maintains or will acquire Snohomish County Health Department’s Food Handler’s Permit

• Wage: $17.25/hr + tips (avg $8/hr) + wine club sign up bonus
