Service Manager Opportunity At Swickard Toyota
Edmonds, WA | Toyota | Hospitality | Import brand | Fixed ops | Service management | CSI | Absorption | Toyota or import experience preferred | Seattle metro | Snohomish County | Pacific Northwest | Veterans encouraged to apply | $130,000 - $190,000/yr OTE
Is This You?• You're a seasoned Service Manager with 5+ years of fixed ops leadership -- you own CSI, absorption, technician development, and the daily rhythm of a high-volume service department with confidence and genuine care for the people you lead
• You build high-performing service teams through clear standards, consistent coaching, and a hospitality-first culture that guests feel from the moment they pull onto the drive
• You have Toyota or import brand service management experience and you're ready to lead a well-established Pacific Northwest Toyota store where your operational depth and leadership instincts have direct and lasting impact
Who We AreSwickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
Swickard Toyota in Edmonds serves a loyal, community-oriented guest base in Snohomish County -- one of the most active and fastest-growing automotive markets in the greater Seattle area. Toyota's exceptional service retention rate means this department stays consistently busy, and the Service Manager who leads it with operational discipline and genuine hospitality builds something that compounds for years.
What You'll Do• Lead the full service department operation -- managing technicians, service advisors, and support staff to deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
• Own key fixed ops metrics -- CSI, absorption, effective labor rate, technician productivity, hours per RO, and warranty compliance
• Develop and hold accountable a service team that operates with discipline, professionalism, and genuine hospitality at every guest touchpoint
• Drive service department revenue and profitability -- through training, process discipline, and an advisor team that presents maintenance recommendations honestly and accurately
• Partner with parts to ensure inventory alignment supports service throughput and minimizes delays that impact the guest experience
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and technician development -- recruiting, onboarding, and retaining the talent that keeps the department performing at its best
• Maintain Toyota OEM certification compliance, warranty administration standards, and TMS relationship requirements
• Resolve guest escalations with composure and a hospitality-first approach
What We're Looking For• 5+ years of Service Manager experience at a franchised dealership -- required
• Toyota or import brand service management experience strongly preferred -- familiarity with Toyota's service processes, TMS programs, CPO standards, and the brand's high-retention ownership base is a meaningful advantage
• Demonstrated CSI and absorption performance at a high standard -- you know what a well-run Toyota service department looks like and you've built one
• A people-first leadership approach -- your advisors and technicians perform better because of how you develop them, not despite how you manage them
• Strong operational discipline across scheduling, workflow, documentation, and warranty compliance
• Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
• Clear communicator who builds trust with guests, technicians, advisors, and dealership leadership equally
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving…
