- Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Edmonds, Washington.
Join a busy community hospital operating room providing care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients. This position is ideal for an experienced OR nurse with strong orthopedic and spine experience who enjoys a diverse surgical case mix.

Hours:
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM - Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Employment Type:
Travel - First-Time Travelers Accepted
Previous permanent employees of Swedish are NOT eligible for traveler assignments. This is a hard-stop policy with no exceptions, regardless of how much time has passed since employment.
Requirements- Active RN License
- BLS Certification Required
- ACLS Preferred
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent OR Experience
- Orthopedic Experience Required
- Spine Experience Required
- 40% Inpatient Cases
- 60% Ambulatory/Outpatient Cases

- Pre-Operative & Post-Operative Areas
- Vascular Surgery Scrub Experience Preferred
- Candidates who can scrub proficiently are highly preferred
- Total Joint Scrub Experience is beneficial but not required

- Surgical Safety Protocols
- Pre-Op & PACU Collaboration
- Day Shift Schedule
- Call Required
- Typical Call Expectation:
- Approximately 48–56 hours every 6 weeks
- Generally 6–7 call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Call requirements may vary based on departmental staffing and vacation schedules
May assist in various OR specialties and perioperative areas based on departmental needs and competency.
