Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shifts, 5x8 hours from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Primarily Monday to Friday, but must be willing to cover some weekends.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care/med-surg environment. Responsibilities will include care coordination, discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with CMS and HIPAA guidelines. Candidates must possess acute care experience and be comfortable handling a variety of patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities- Manage patient admissions and discharges effectively.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of patient care activities.
- Must have a valid compact state RN license.
- At least 2 years of acute care/med-surg nursing experience.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
- Prior charge experience is a plus.
- Must be willing to work 1 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
