ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT/DRIVER

Job Description
Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for facilitating the planned activities in a retirement community for Independent living Seniors. Involving everything from leading exercise classes and singing‑alongs to brain power activities, sports and art classes and reading.
Flexibility, dependability, self‑starter and working well with others a must!
Driver must be able to pass a background check, along with driving a car and a small 16‑person mini bus (CDL Not required).
Will be responsible for helping to coordinate and oversee that all needs for vehicle are taken care of per company standard.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community
- Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that facility activities and resident progress are evaluated
- Involve the resident/family in planning activity programs when possible
- Responsible for helping to coordinate and oversee that all needs for vehicle are taken care of per company standard
Qualifications
- Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self‑starter
- Food Handlers Permit
- MAST permit
- SERV‑Safe Permit a plus
- Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chair on a regular basis
