LOCATION:

Edmonton & Calgary

JOB PURPOSE:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the project managers throughout the complete project cycle. With a heavy focus on utilizing Procore, the role of a PC will be to ensure all documentation is managed effectively, as well as being a support to Superintendents.

Desired Background

  • 3+ years of project coordination experience in commercial construction, ideally within the commercial or retail petroleum construction industry
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or related education
  • Demonstrated experience with document control and compilation, multiple project file management and record keeping
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email and in person
  • Comfortable with technology and adept at embracing continuous change
  • WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation including files, logs, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure project documentation and execution align with owner and architect requirements
  • Review, distribute, and coordinate drawings, RFIs, and communications with trades and consultants
  • Communicate expectations clearly and provide timely project updates, including weekly status reports
  • Coordinate subtrades and daily project activities to support efficient workflow and smooth transitions
  • Facilitate stakeholder and project meetings and follow up on action items
  • Review and process purchase orders, subcontracts, change events, and change orders in accordance with company procedures
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and support procurement of materials and equipment
  • Track job requirements including deficiencies, warranties, and close-out items
  • Coordinate completion of deficiencies and manage warranty claims
  • Prepare and compile close-out documentation, including Operations & Maintenance manuals, for owner and consultant review
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to collect required reports and ensure timely project close-out
