We are currently recruiting for Office Support Personnel (Junior – Intermediate) in Edmonton. The Office Support Operations Specialist provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and technical office support across word processing, desktop publishing, reception/switchboard operations, and data entry functions. The role supports daily business operations through accurate document production, information management, front-line reception services, and data processing.

  • Salary: $17 – $19.5/hr

  • What You'll Do: 
  • Create, format, edit, and proofread documents including letters, reports, forms, manuals, and correspondence
  • Apply advanced formatting, templates, styles, tables, and document standards
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational style guides
  • Manage document revisions, version control, and deadlines
  • Apply layout, typography, and branding standards
  • Prepare documents for print and electronic distribution
  • Coordinate revisions with stakeholders and ensure final output quality
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers
  • Schedule appointments and provide general administrative support
  • Enter, update, and verify data in databases, spreadsheets, and information systems
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality
  • Maintain logs, records, and tracking systems
  • What We're Looking For: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in office administration, information management, or a related field is an asset
  • 2- 4 years’ experience in office support roles, typically:
  • Strong keyboarding, data accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); desktop publishing software (e.g., InDesign) is an asset
  • Experience with phone systems, databases, and document management tools
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
