Elevate library services as a Circulation Technician at Nor Quest College. Provide exceptional circulation support and manage library services for students and faculty in a flexible work environment.
In this full-time Circulation Technician role, you will report to the Manager of Library Services. Your responsibilities include delivering circulation desk services, managing policies related to circulation, and training staff on online library systems like Ex Libris Primo and Alma. You will also handle patron records, manage interlibrary loan services, and aid in library acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver library services at the circulation desk
• Manage circulation policies and procedures
• Train staff on integrated library systems
• Oversee patron record issues including fines
• Handle interlibrary loan services and related duties
Requirements:
• Two-year technical diploma in Library Technology
• Minimum 2 years of relevant library experience
• Proficient in basic computer applications
• Strong communication skills in diverse settings
• Experience in library materials acquisition processes
