Join Canak Industries in Edmonton as a part-time Office Assistant and be vital to our administrative operations. Bring your organizational skills and customer service experience to our dynamic machine shop.
This part-time role requires detail-oriented individuals for front desk duties and administrative support. You will manage data entry using Microsoft Office, assist in bookkeeping with Quick Books, and help maintain our filing systems. A hands-on approach is essential, as you'll also assist with shipping and receiving tasks within the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and handle phone calls professionally
• Perform accurate data entry with Microsoft Office applications
• Maintain both digital and physical filing systems
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Quick Books
• Help prepare and schedule customer orders and shipments
Requirements:
• Experience in a clerical or administrative role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Quick Books is an asset
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
