Your role will ensure timely access to vital medications through efficient documentation and coordination.
As an essential member of the inter-professional healthcare team, you will collaborate with clinical staff and pharmaceutical representatives. This position demands advanced administrative skills to handle drug authorization applications and maintain a renewals database, all aimed at improving efficiency in the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic while addressing patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process medication applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a database for drug authorization renewals
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical companies
• Support cross-training opportunities across clinics
• Ensure timely documentation for patient access
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum 1 year as Admin IV in last 3 years
• Experience in an ambulatory or hospital care setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Connect Care
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
