Join the Health Sciences Association of Alberta as a full-time Administrative Assistant specializing in events. This position features travel across Alberta to facilitate a variety of educational workshops and conferences.
As a vital member of the HSAA team, you will be responsible for coordinating events, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adherence to union policies. Your proactive nature will help streamline operations related to catering and registration. This is a perfect role for an independent worker who can seamlessly manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute event planning alongside Event Planners
• Administer vendor contracts and service delivery
• Oversee event logistics including catering and setup
• Maintain a comprehensive event and education calendar
• Manage attendee registrations and follow-ups
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited business program
• At least three years of administrative and event support experience
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
