Position: Administrative Support IV (Wetaskiwin)
Location: Wetaskiwin

Reporting to the Director, Central Zone Rural Acute Care, the Administrative Support IV - Staffing Clerk provides vital support to the Acute, Emergency and Labour and Delivery units of Wetaskiwin Hospital. The role requires proficient use of the Infor Workforce Management (Infor WFM) staff scheduling application and adherence to established scheduling processes to complete complex and often urgent staffing tasks within short timelines in a busy, high‑pressure environment.

Attention to detail is crucial to ensure employees are scheduled appropriately and employee pay data is captured in accordance with AHS policies, procedures and collective agreement provisions. The successful candidate will manage pre‑booked and immediate shifts arising from staff vacation, leave of absence, illness and education leave, anticipate staffing needs, inform managers of shifts that require further attention, enter payroll data, provide scheduling reports, detail records, and compile or provide statistical information.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will need advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices, and initiatives within a department or program.

Required education:
Some post‑secondary education.

Required skills and experience:
Advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives. Proficiency in MS Office Suite products. Previous experience with Infor WFM with scheduling and payroll experience, including excellent knowledge of applicable collective agreements and pay. Experience with rotation and position management. Two years of experience in an administrative capacity in a health care setting.

Experience:

Two to five years of experience as a Staffing Clerk.
