Join the Edmonton Clinic as an Administrative Support IV - Drug Access Coordinator to facilitate access to essential medications. This role focuses on documentation and collaboration within a healthcare team.
In your position, you’ll work closely with clinical staff and pharmaceutical companies to process drug access applications. Your ability to maintain organized databases and prioritize tasks under pressure will help improve efficiencies in the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic while addressing patient needs through timely support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process applications for medications in a timely manner
• Maintain a drug authorization renewals database
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient assistance
• Engage in cross-training with other clinics
• Ensure documentation meets patient access requirements
Requirements:
• Some post-secondary education required
• Minimum 1 year experience as Admin IV within last 3 years
• Experience in hospital or ambulatory care
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Connect Care
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
