Position: JMD – 26-27-034 – Administrative Assistant 4 (AA4)
Location: St. Albert

St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a  Full Time,   Probationary   ,   Administrative Assistant 4  for a work assignment at  Joseph M. Demko School.
More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.
Hours of Work   :  35.0hrs. /week; 7.0 hrs./day;
Monday-Friday;
Full-Time, Probationary
Hourly Rate:  $27.06 per hour, effective September 1, 2026 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously required.
Excellent skills with accurately managing data and producing reports required.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google suites are required.
Providing a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, colleagues and visitors to the school is of utmost importance.
Knowledge of Power School and Power Scheduler are essential.

Experience with student registration and scheduling would be preferred.
Knowledge of Power School class size information, enrollment verification and PASI would be preferred.

Experience with PASI and maintenance of the Student Cumulative Records preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced school environment along with excellent communication and human relations skills.
