Purpose:
What is the overall function of the job?
Sample receipt, preparation of supplies and shipping related duties for all clients in support of the Sample Logistics Team. This position also includes administrative functionsKey Accountability/Responsibilities:
What specifically is this job expected to accomplish?
Greet all clients in a friendly, positive mannerReceive all external client samplesUnpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirementsEnsure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and / or received dateEnsure all required samples are redirected as requiredPrepare bottle orders requests and coordinate delivery of bottle ordersProvide support to the Sample Log In teamEnsure accuracy of results and data entryRecognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the SupervisorEnsure supply inventories are maintainedProactively ensure overall satisfaction of regional client base including communication to project management and supervisor as appropriateMonitor/Calibrate the temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature gunsAdhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements.Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies.All other responsibilities as assignedSkills and Knowledge:

High School DiplomaExperience in a laboratory environment is considered an asset.Ability to lift up to 40 lbsExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skills (both written and verbal).Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookAbility to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointmentsEnergetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are requiredWork Relationships
