Our client is a global leader in agricultural and light construction equipment operating through a national, independent dealer network. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading dealer relationships across Alberta, with a mandate to grow sales volume, improve market share, and strengthen dealer profitability through disciplined execution, coaching, and regional market leadership. This sales leader serves as the primary commercial and strategic liaison between the organization and its dealers, ensuring alignment on sales performance, inventory management, marketing execution and customer experience.

Reporting to the Director, National Sales, you will:

  • Lead and manage dealer relationships to drive sales growth, profitability, and product representation across the region.
  • Execute regular dealer engagement through in-market visits, performance reviews, training, and ongoing communication to motivate teams, align sales strategy and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver sales, systems, and product training to dealer ownership and frontline teams.
  • Partner with internal field, product, and marketing teams to ensure coordinated regional execution.
  • Manage regional inventory planning, order programs, and product availability.
  • Develop and oversee regional and dealer-level marketing plans aligned with national programs.
  • Support dealer participation in corporate sales, marketing, and field demonstration events.
  • Provide structured monthly reporting on market conditions, competitive activity, product performance and regional outlook.
  • Contribute to dealer network development, customer satisfaction improvement and long-term territory strategy by supporting sales forecasts, inventory management and program planning.
  • Support asset protection, inventory audits, and dealer compliance in coordination with finance and credit teams.

Your background includes:

  • A University degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Agriculture.
  • 5+ years of experience working within a dealer-based distribution model.
  • Background in agriculture, construction, and/or turf equipment markets.
  • Proven ability to coach, influence and advise independent business owners.
  • Experience developing and executing regional sales and marketing plans.
  • Strong commercial judgment, negotiation capability and decision‑making discipline.
  • High level of comfort operating independently in a field-based role, while multi‑tasking and prioritizing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including structured reporting.
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

This role is home‑based with frequent travel across Alberta to participate in dealer meetings, field demonstrations, industry events, and other business‑related activities with internal teams and external stakeholders.
