We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to represent our brand at global exhibitions and drive business growth.

Position Overview

This is a remote role for a Business Development Specialist at Elate Pay. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, generating leads, and driving revenue and brand visibility for our fintech solutions. Key responsibilities include engaging with prospective clients and partners at global exhibitions, building strategic relationships, analyzing market trends, developing strategies to expand the business, communicating with potential clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Role:
Business Development Specialist

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)

Location:
Remote with travel to global exhibitions (e.g., Money
20/20, or other events)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and investors at global exhibitions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders to generate leads and close deals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize ROI from event participation, including lead generation and follow-up processes.
  • Represent the company professionally, aligning with our brand values and mission.
  • Provide post-event reports on leads, partnerships, and market insights to the leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles is an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably in fintech or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and relationship building.
  • Experience representing companies at global trade shows or exhibitions (e.g., Money
    20/20, CES, or similar) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of fintech products or services (e.g., payments, lending, or compliance solutions).
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills to secure partnerships and deals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and MS Office/Google Suite.
  • Experience in market research is an asset.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel internationally for exhibitions (1-year valid passport is required).
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours during events.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
