Elevate Leduc County's economic initiatives as an Economic Development Technician. Provide crucial administrative support and enhance business opportunities at the Business Entrepreneur Centre.
As an Economic Development Technician, you will report to the Manager of Economic Development and play a pivotal role in advancing operational and strategic objectives. This dynamic position focuses on administrative tasks, managing grants, and supporting business operations. A focus on relationship building and customer service will keep you thriving in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Economic Development administrative functions
• Manage property inquiries for the Business Entrepreneur Centre
• Develop and maintain business webpages and social media content
• Assist in crafting marketing materials for department initiatives
• Coordinate projects and events to further economic goals
Requirements:
• Diploma in business, finance, or economic development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications
• Two years of municipal or industry experience preferred
• Understanding of municipal operations and tax regulations
• Familiarity with Economic Developers of Alberta is a plus
