Responsibilities
- Maintain existing broker relationships and source new ones within specified territories.
- Increase revenues by meeting yearly targets set by the department and company.
- Manage key account list of 15‑20 brokerages; conduct quarterly meetings and monthly reviews with regional directors.
- Spend at least four days per week out of the office making proactive sales calls and visiting brokers; schedule a minimum of 15 broker meetings weekly.
- Analyze efficiency ratios from Tableau and document feedback in the CRM to identify and address trends.
- Develop and maintain competitive intelligence; monitor competitor programs and report changes.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products, promotions, and compliance requirements; maintain up‑to‑date collateral materials.
- Engage in relationship management with brokers, industry associations, and internal teams; represent Equitable Bank at events.
- Perform administrative duties: enter at least 15 CRM activities weekly, submit expense reports within 7 business days, complete regulatory courses on EQ University.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous sales and/or underwriting experience in the industry.
- Self‑directed and highly organized with the ability to multi‑task.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Completion of a college or equivalent post‑secondary degree.
- At least five years of industry‑related experience.
