Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing broker relationships and source new ones within specified territories.
  • Increase revenues by meeting yearly targets set by the department and company.
  • Manage key account list of 15‑20 brokerages; conduct quarterly meetings and monthly reviews with regional directors.
  • Spend at least four days per week out of the office making proactive sales calls and visiting brokers; schedule a minimum of 15 broker meetings weekly.
  • Analyze efficiency ratios from Tableau and document feedback in the CRM to identify and address trends.
  • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence; monitor competitor programs and report changes.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on products, promotions, and compliance requirements; maintain up‑to‑date collateral materials.
  • Engage in relationship management with brokers, industry associations, and internal teams; represent Equitable Bank at events.
  • Perform administrative duties: enter at least 15 CRM activities weekly, submit expense reports within 7 business days, complete regulatory courses on EQ University.
Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous sales and/or underwriting experience in the industry.
  • Self‑directed and highly organized with the ability to multi‑task.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Completion of a college or equivalent post‑secondary degree.
  • At least five years of industry‑related experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
