As part of the Ministry of Indigenous Relations, you will oversee the Aboriginal Business Investment Fund (ABIF) program to improve economic outcomes for Indigenous businesses. Engage in reviewing applications, recommending project funding, and providing advisory support to help communities secure business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement grant programs for community-owned businesses
• Negotiate and manage funding agreements
• Evaluate business development projects for funding
• Develop evaluation frameworks for grants
• Research and analyze data for community engagement
Requirements:
• University degree in Economics or related field
• Minimum four years of relevant experience
• Strong stakeholder-relations skills
• Experience managing grant applications
• Proven project management capabilities
