Role Responsibilities
As Senior Procurement Advisor, you will shape and strengthen procurement governance. Reporting to the Manager, Procurement Governance and Policy, the Senior Procurement Advisor provides strategic leadership and expert advice to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes. This role promotes accountable, transparent, and consistent procurement practices that align with legislative, regulatory, trade agreement, and organizational requirements.
Working collaboratively with procurement teams, business areas, legal, risk, compliance, and audit partners, the Advisor leads policy and governance initiatives, supports procurement modernization efforts, and drives process improvements that enhance oversight and organizational effectiveness. The position also contributes to governance reviews, risk assessments, audits, and change management initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, mitigate risks, and support continuous improvement.
