At SNDL, the Safety Coordinator reports to the Manager of Health and Safety, contributing to the promotion and maintenance of health and safety standards. This role requires managing claims, providing training materials, and overseeing daily safety operations. Key competencies needed include attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude to handle evolving challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain knowledge of federal and provincial OHS regulations
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes
• Manage Worker Compensation claims and return-to-work programs
• Provide health and safety training across the organization
• Monitor and report safety performance indicators
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety
• Familiarity with OHS legislation, particularly Alberta regulations
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in claims management and multi-province environments
Drive health and safety across multiple provinces with SNDL, enhancing workplace culture and compliance.
