You will help manage Alberta's engagement in international trade negotiations, focusing on issues like tariff analyses and market access. This position demands collaboration with various stakeholders and strong analytical abilities to support trade strategy and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess implications of trade agreements on Alberta
• Research and analyze international trade disputes
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations
• Facilitate communication with government contacts
• Contribute to interdepartmental trade policy meetings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant trade policy experience
• Expertise in trade research and data analysis
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
• Excellent written communication and presentation capabilities
• Experience in international trade law is an asset
