Your Opportunity at SECURE

Summer positions will run May-August 2027. Co-op and Internship positions may extend beyond the summer term depending on the requirements of the academic program and the business. These terms may be 8, 12, or 16 months in length.

To be eligible for the SECURE Student program, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent residency, or a valid work permit.
  • Complete a Medical and/or Alcohol and Drug test if the role is considered safety-sensitive.
Your Opportunity at SECURE

This role will support SECURE’s Operations team in enhancing process efficiency, supporting daily workflows, and assisting with data analysis tied to production and services. The student will gain hands‑on experience in operations management while contributing to special projects that improve productivity across the organization. This position requires the ability to work independently, with some travel expected as part of the role.

This role is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Team

The student will be based in Edmonton, working closely with SECURE’s Operations team to support both local and regional activities. The team emphasizes efficiency, problem‑solving, and collaboration, while also encouraging students to take ownership of projects and work independently.

Work Environment

You’ll work closely with SECURE's Operations team in a dynamic environment that combines data analysis, process improvement, project coordination, and operational support activities. The role offers exposure to both office and field operations, with occasional travel to support regional sites and gain a broader understanding of SECURE's services and workflows. Success in this role requires initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
