What You Will Do:
As the Supervisor, Business Development, you will play an essential role within our Corporate Services & Stakeholder Relations department, reporting to the Manager, Business Development & Community Relations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with new and existing customers;
Preparing financial models, economic evaluations, and business cases to assess project feasibility;
Preparing financial, operational, and regulatory reporting to support decision making and business reviews;
Leading customer application and intake process, including communication, correspondence, and on-going support to the customer;
Leading quality control and continuous improvement initiatives across new business life cycle processes.
Building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with new and existing franchisees, permit holders, and large volume customers for contractual purposes;
Planning, coordinating, and executing customer contract and franchise agreement life cycle processes for new and existing customers;
Preparing financial analysis, evaluations and business information for customers, as required by contracts and/or business needs.
Administering and executing Apex’s sponsorship program;
Preparing financial and operating reporting to support decision making and business reviews;
Coordinating, participating, and representing the company as a brand ambassador at events and networking functions and;
Monitoring and reporting on industry trends, customer data, and competitive landscape to support strategic planning and decision-making;
Identifying and nurturing potential customers from initial interest to customer acquisition.
What You Will Bring:
Required qualifications:
Experience in the areas of business development, including being able to handle customer escalations and resolve difficult issues Experience in and skills in preparing economic evaluations and decision documents.
Note: Travel within the company’s operating territory is required (15-25%) with occasional travel outside of region. Occasional evening or weekend commitments for industry events are also part of the role.
