Job SummaryThe Games Operations & Delivery department is part of the Sport Division at the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and is responsible for facilitating access to the operational services that are required for the CPC’s team members to perform at International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Americas Paralympic Committee (APC)-sanctioned multi-para sport competitions (Games).
This role supports Games Operations through the coordination of internal and Games partner communications, operational reporting, information management, and project documentation across the Sport Division.

Salary: $54,000-$61,000 annually plus benefits

Location:
Remote within Canada, with travel for occasional in-person meetings.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and distribute Games-related communications, operational updates, key dates, and information between Games Organizing Committees, Games Partners, CPC functional areas, and primary contacts through established communication channels and platforms.
- Maintain and manage operational communication systems, databases, and information tools including SharePoint, Work management systems, HOC Extranet, Work Apps dashboards, email accounts, and Games-time communication channels.
- Support Games planning and operational coordination through the preparation of project schedules, milestone tracking, meeting materials, presentations, briefings, operational reports, note-taking, and after-action documentation across the Sport Division and Games Planning activities.
- Prepare, coordinate, and standardize operational communication products including Games info distribution, readiness materials, planning session documents, team briefings, Games-time updates, site visit reports, debrief reports, templates, and lessons learned documentation.
- Support the ongoing improvement of Division communication systems, processes, tools, document management practices, and administrative operations to improve team coordination, efficiency, consistency, and information sharing.
- Responsible to also support assigned minor projects in Games Operations & Delivery
- 2-3 years’ experience working within a professional environment, and a proven track record of increasing responsibilities.
- Experience coordinating information from multiple groups into clear, organized products.
- Experience supporting meetings, sessions or operational planning activities.
- Experience working in the Canadian and/or Paralympic sports industry; or related field is considered an asset.
- Experience as a Para Athlete is considered an asset.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (Communications and/or business administration)
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functional areas, suppliers and partners
