Edmonton Level 2 Educator for Children

Become a catalyst for growth with YMCA as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta. This term position is centered on supporting children's developmental journey in an inclusive, dynamic environment.

You will play a key role in implementing a curriculum designed to enhance social, emotional, and cognitive skills for children aged 0-12. Responsibilities include facilitating hands-on activities, observing developments, and maintaining open channels of communication with parents. This role is well-suited for passionate educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute approved curriculum for child growth

• Lead engaging and creative activities

• Observe, document, and support individualized learning

• Follow child safety and health regulations

• Regularly update parents on children's progress

Requirements:

• Experience in child care preferred

• Level 2 Child Care Certification (in progress acceptable)

• Certified in Standard First Aid and CPR – C

• Clear Police Information Check required

• Competent in Microsoft Office Programs
